The inscription on this ring is inspired by a third century roman ring currently housed in the British Museum, repurposing Roman inscriptions was a popular trend for posey rings in the 15th & 16th Centuries. It translates to 'I love you too little' – as in, the wearer is worthy of a limitless amount of love.
