The four leaf clover shape is an ancient decorative element. It was particularly popular during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, and it was depictions of jewellery in 16th Century portraiture that led me to create this line of Quatrefoil pieces. 

But I also love that the shape is found being used as far back as Ancient Mesoamerica – we humans have always really liked this particular decorative element (and probably need one in jewellery form)

The 'flower' is 6.5mm wide and 2.5mm thick
with a 4mm jump ring opening
